ISLAMABAD:Supreme Court has reserved its verdict on petitions regarding high treason charges against former dictator Pervez Musharraf under Article 6.

The verdict will be declared on an appropriate time.

Attorney General Munir A. Malik informed the Supreme Court on Thursday that an investigation team will be constituted shortly to investigate former President Pervez Musharraf on 3 Novemebr 2007 under Article 6.

He made the submission before a three- member bench of the Supreme Court hearing a petition seeking registration of treason case against Pervez Musharraf.

The Attorney General said the Prime Minister has issued necessary directives to the Interior Secretary to constitute an investigation team.

He said a commission will also be set up to oversee the entire investigation process.
