KARACHI, Pakistan: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reached US$ 9.4 billion, marking the highest level since July 7, 2022.

The latest statistics released by the Central Bank showed that the Country’s total foreign reserves jumped to US$ 14.6 billion by June 28, 2024 with an increase of US$ 365.7 million.

The data revealed that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the Country as of June 28, 2024 were US$ 14,573.0 million.

The statistics showed that the Central Bank’s own reserves witnessed an increase of US$ 493.7 million to stand at US$ 9.4 billion.

The reserves held by the SBP stood at US$ 9,389.5 million in the week ended on June 28 whereas previously they were US$ 8,895.8 million.

Whereas the Commercial Banks had foreign reserves of US$ 5,183.5 million, showing a decrease of US$ 128 million.SBP reserves jump to $9.4 billion, highest since July 2022
