ISLAMABAD: Advisor to Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has expressed concern over current escalation of tension by India on the Line of Control (LoC).

He said India has failed to reciprocate Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s gestures to improve relations between Islamabad and New Delhi.

In an interview‚ he said Indian hawks do not want dialogue process between the two countries to move ahead.

He regretted that these developments have been politicized by the opposition parties in India.

Sartaj Aziz said the situation will further deteriorate if anti-Pakistan posture goes on up to the general elections in India.
