Saboor Aly is a Pakistani television and film actress. The sister of actress Sajal Aly, she began her acting career with a brief role in the melodrama Dil Awaiz and Choti Si Kahani.
Later in the year, she appeared with her sister in the family drama Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain. After portraying supporting roles in different television series, Saboor garnered recognition with a comic role in the sitcom Mr. Shamim.
She continued playing supporting roles and received praise for portraying emotionally intense characters in the dramas Rang Laaga, Bay Qasoor, Bhai, and Visaal.
Her debut film role in the 2016 romantic comedy Actor in Law earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at Lux Style Awards.
Saboor Aly Career
Saboor Aly started her career journey in television with a small role in a PTV drama serial “Choti Si Kahani” in 2011. In the same year, she got the opportunity to play a supporting role in the daily Pakistani soap opera family drama “Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain” alongside her sister Sajal Aly.
While Saboor was on the way to success, she then again appeared with her sister Sajal in the telefilm “Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain”, that went on air at Hum TV.
Moreover, she also acted in the critically acclaimed romantic drama “Bunty I Love You” alongside Saba Qamar. With her constant success, Saboor also made her film debut in Nabeel Qureshi’s box office hit Pakistani socio-comedy film Actor in Law”, alongside Fahad Mustafa. She portrayed a supportive role of Fahad Mustafa’s sister which earned her a Best Supporting Actress nomination at Lux Style Awards.
Furthermore, Saboor Aly appeared to play the lead in the 2018 telefilm “Nanu Aur Main”. She next played second-lead roles in the highest-rated Pakistani dramas of 2018 “Visaal”.
