Saba Qamar recently appeared in the hit drama serial, Fraud. Ever since her first step in the industry, she is nailing every project she took up. The same can expect in Saba Qamar’s new drama. She shared the Sar-e-Rah drama teaser on her Instagram profile hinting at a drama serial based on real-time issues for women.

Along with Saba Qamar, the drama is star-studded including Muneeb Butt, Saboor Aly, Sunita Marshal, and Hareem Farooqi. All the women in the drama belong to different professions in society which make this project more thought-provoking. While sharing Sar-e-Rah drama teasers, Saba Qamar wrote a caption,

The teaser begins with Saba Qamar’s appearance as a taxi driver. She can be seen sitting in a taxi driver’s seat and switching on the engine. The teaser shows Saba Qamar’s monologue and her struggle in her life. Then, the perspective shifts towards other characters.

We can also see other big names in our industry in various other roles. Saboor Aly plays a character of a social media influencer, Sunita Marshal is a doctor and Hareem Farooqi is an office employee. Throughout the teaser, Saba Qamar continues to say Pata nahi ye kia kahani hai in the background.

Muneeb Butt is also playing a very unique role in this drama. he is acting as the first trans-Assistant commissioner in Pakistan. This drama is going to break all the records against stereotypes through the empowerment of transgender and women doing unconventional jobs like taxi drivers.

The drama is going to highlight the problems of women and transgenders in our society. It will also focus on how difficult it is for them to work professionally without any hurdles. All the actors are super excited about working in this project.

The release date of Saba Qamar’s new drama is not revealed yet. However, it will come soon on ARY digital under iDream Entertainment production. Ahmed Bhatti has directed Sar-e-Rah drama and Adeel Razzaq has written the script. So, we got to hold on till the release to watch this upcoming blockbuster. Hopefully, this unique plotline will get it onto the best Pakistani dramas of 2023.
