ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The federal government has allocated an amount of Rs 815 million for various ongoing and new schemes of Climate Change Division under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the year 2017-18.

According to budgetary documents, the federal government has allocated Rs 764 million for various ongoing schemes of the division.

An amount of Rs 51 million was allocated for the new schemes of the Climate Change Division.

According to details Rs 605.172 million have been allocated for Green Pakistan Programme-Revival of Forestry Resources in Pakistan.

Similarly, an amount of Rs 100 million was allocated for the Green Pakistan Programme-Revival of Wildlife Resources in Pakistan.

The government has also allocated an amount of Rs 36 million for the Green Pakistan Programme-Strengthening Zoological Survey of Pakistan undertaking immediate inventory of endangered wildlife species and habitats across Pakistan.

An amount of Rs 15 million was allocated for the Construction of Boundary Wall of Zoo-cum-Botanical Garden Islamabad.
