ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Ambassador of Romania to Pakistan Emilian Ion has admired cultural values of Pakistan and said he would write a full chapter on Pakistan in his ‘Memoir,’ covering the period he stayed in the South Asian Country as an envoy.

In a farewell meeting with the Federal Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain held in Islamabad on Friday during which the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest and increased cooperation in diverse fields, the outgoing Romanian envoy said that In that chapter he would present true soft image of Pakistan.

The envoy underlined the need for frequent exchange of Parliamentary delegations between the two countries.

In his remarks, the federal minister appreciated ambassador for playing active role in enhancing ties between Pakistan and Romania.

Rana Tanveer mentioned that for the first time Ministry of Defence Production and Romania were going to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
