ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Ambassador of Romania to Pakistan Emilion Ion Tuesday purposed Minister of State for Education Engineer Muhammad Baligh ur Rahman for revival of the agreement between both the countries which was signed in 1968.

During a meeting with the minister of state here, the Romanian Ambassador also gave some suggestions to the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training in order to renew ties between Pakistan and Romania.

The minister welcomed the Ambassador and said that both the countries were enjoying cordial relations and these existing ties should be further strengthened in the times to come.

The minister highly appreciated the efforts of the Ambassador Emilion in this regard and admitted the need to revive agreements signed between the two countries decades ago.

Ambassador of Romania also talked about scholarships being offered to Pakistani students and assured to enhance cooperation in the education sector.

The minister also presented a book on the life of founder of Pakistan Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and a shield of the Ministry to the Ambassador.
