ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Thursday that some politicians are working for their own vested interests, adding that the revolution will come only through ballot.

   

Talking to a delegation of Pakistan Bar Council in Islamabad on Thursday, the prime minister said that fate of Pakistan will change during the tenure of the incumbent democratic government. He said that the country will be put on the path of progress and development by overcoming energy crisis.

Sharif said that we all stand together for the supremacy of law. He said that the government has launched digitization of Pakistani laws which will provide all the laws of the land in soft forms.

IDPs will not be left alone

The prime minister said that the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of the North Waziristan tribal region will not be left in disarray.

Nawaz Sharif said that the government will extend all state resources to help the IDPs. He also appealed to all segments of society to come forward and join hands with the government for IDPs rehabilitation.

The premier said that the military operation Zarb-e-Azb will wipe out terrorists and bring peace to the country. He said that all sanctuaries of terrorists will be destroyed so that they could not reestablish themselves.

In addition, he said that the nation stands by the armed forces and expressed the confidence that security forces will be successful in flushing out the terrorists.
