ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that the Rescue 1122 Service will be started soon in Islamabad to facilitate the dwellers.

While addressing a Press Conference in Islamabad on Monday, the minister said that 2,000 more policemen will be inducted into the Islamabad Police department.

The interior minister said that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil-ur-Rehman has been asked to immediately install 190 Cameras in the Capital City.

Sheikh Rashid said that subversive activities of India, the National Directorate of Security (NDS), and Israel against the national security of Pakistan demands unity in the nation. However, he lamented that the opposition is unaware of changing situation of the region.

The minister said that those who are trying to create chaos will surely fail in their designs.

Commenting on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), he said that any hurdle in CPEC will not be accepted. He said that the whole nation is united on CPEC and Kashmir issue.

Responding to a question about the Afghan ambassador’s daughter issue, the minister said that Kabul’s investigation team went back yesterday and full cooperation was extended to them.

The interior minister told the reporters that 95 percent work has been completed on the Pak-Afghan international border.
