Reham Khan spoke out how mainstream media, particularly television screens are controlled by PTI’s narrative while government is trying to fight the PTI in media war through releasing advertisements in newspapers as well as television screens but according to Rehman Khan, this move of government has failed to provide counter narrative to dangerous campaigns of PTI against state institutions. He believes that failure in the field of media is relates to picking up illogical and inexperience media managers that government is using. Giving an example of “Green Initiative” project of the government, Rehman rightfully indicated that positive moves of the government are not being documented and promoted by the print as well as electronic while social media handling of the government placed it nowhere. The bold and blunt Reham Khan even talked what PMLN government had not dared to while claiming that Mian Nawaz Sharif twice sent home for his China-tilted foreign policy that according to Reham Khan did not suit the then establishment and now PMLN is backed because today’s establishment has no problem with pro-China or China-tilted foreign policy. She stated that the media was indirectly trying a coup in the Pakistan Army by spreading false narratives against the institution.

She cited that COAS Gen Asim Munir visited the United Kingdom and he was given an extraordinary Guard of Honour and delivered a very important speech there but Pakistani media did not cover the event as it should have been. She mentioned that the PECA Act is a useless paper because it did not stop extraordinary coverage of PTI and the government earned a bad name for introducing this Act but did not get anything out of this.
