Islamabad – 10th December, 2013: Zong has launched its state-of-the-art Contact Centre in Chak Shehzad Islamabad. Pakistan’s largest cloud computing based contact center was inaugurated by Minister for Information Technology Ms. Anusha Rehman. Chariman PTA, Dr. Ismail Shah, Secretary IT, Akhlaq Tarar and other dignitaries also graced the occasion.

 

With the launch of this new Contact Centre, Zong has taken another giant leap to provide best in class support services to its customers and facilitate them with their queries round the clock. The Contact Centre will allow Zong to get closer to the consumer pulse and address their needs more promptly. Additionally, the Contact Centre will also create more job opportunities in Pakistan hence making a positive contribution to the economy.

 

Commenting on Zong’s contribution to the IT industry, Ms. Rehman said, “We appreciate any endeavor that adds value to the IT & Telecom industry of Pakistan. As the fastest growing cellular network of the country, Zong is playing a key role in providing better telecom services to Pakistanis with its innovative initiatives and driving the industry wide growth. With such focused initiatives, Zong has undoubtedly become a benchmark for other Pakistani telecom operators.”
