US Senators discuss regional security situation with COAS

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The US Senators Tim Kaine and Agnus King called on the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif at the army general headquarters in Rawalpindi on Monday, says a press release issued by the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR).

The ISPR said that during the meeting, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on defence and security cooperation and overall security situation in the region.

The US Senators also called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad and discussed various issues.
