KHUZDAR: Unknown gunmen shot dead a senior police officer in Khuzdar town of restive Balochistan province on Monday, officials said.
Nisar Mengal, the Station House Office (SHO), was on his way to the local police station when unknown armed men on motorbikes intercepted his car in Double Road area and fired shots at him, officials said.
The SHO died on the spot receiving multiple bullet wounds, they added.
