LAHORE, Pakistan: The United Kingdom has assured Pakistan of its continued cooperation in various sectors in future.

A delegation of the British High Commission held a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Shahabad Sharif in Lahore on Friday morning.

During the meeting, the head of delegation said that UK will continue to cooperate with Pakistan in various sectors in future.

The chief minister said that UK is a major trade partner of Pakistan and its cooperation in education, health and other social development sectors is also appreciable.

Shahbaz said that with the cooperation of UK Department for International Development (DFID), thousands of youngsters have been provided skills training under the Skill Development Program. He said that with the cooperation of the DFID, a major program for improvement of healthcare has also been launched.
