ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday issued a notice to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Ghulam Sarwar Khan in a fake degree case, directing the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to verify the authenticity of educational documents of lawmaker.

A three-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry also asked for details of a pre-arrest bail obtained by Sarwar from the Lahore High Court.
