ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday directed the protesting parties including the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) to vacate the constitution avenue in Islamabad.
A five-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Justice Nasirul Mulk issued the directions while hearing a petition regarding any possible extra constitutional step.
The chief justice directed that it should be ensured that judges of the apex court reach the Supreme Court building tomorrow by using the constitution avenue.
The attorney general Salman Aslam Butt said that both the parties have been offered the venue of sports complex for their protests.
Later, the hearing of the case was adjourned till Wednesday.
