PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Saturday that peace cannot be attained till the US drone strikes are stopped, and urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take a stand against US atrocities & put an end to the US Slavery.

Imran Khan was addressing a huge crowed on Peshawar’s Ring Road as his party and allies are staging a sit-in protest there on Saturday against US drone attacks to block NATO supply routes going through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

“I want to make it clear that our KPK govt and PTI workers would definitely block NATO supplies,” the PTI Chairman.

“We will take PHC decision to Supreme Court and seek implementation vis-a-vis missile strikes,” Imran said.

Imran Khan said that he wants to say to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take a stand against US atrocities & put an end to the US Slavery.

“It’s time that we become a nation. It’s time we all stand together and fight for justice in this country,” the PTI chief said.  “It will be our land, and our will, only then we will become one nation.”

“I appeal to people of Sindh, Balochistan, Gilgit, other provinces, to become one nation, take united stand,” Imran Khan said.

The PTI chief said that the PTI supported the federal government for dialogue & peace, but the prime minister failed to convey Pakistani public sentiment’s to US President Barack Obama.

“PTI didn’t get the federal government, but now as KPK govt we will go to every extent to stop drone attacks,” Imran Khan said. “Peace will come when drone attacks will stop. And we promised that we will stop the drone attack.”

The PTI chief said that Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief “Maulana Fazl ur Rehman said that PTI wants to become a Shaheed, he wants him to know that we will become Ghazi.”

Earlier, PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Awami Muslim League (AML) President and MNA Sheikh Rasheed also addressed the protesters.
