President Mamnoon confers Nishan-i-Imtiaz on COAS‚ CJCSC

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday conferred Nishan-i-Imtiaz (military) award on newly-appointed Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and Chairman Joints Chief of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Rashid Mahmood at an investiture ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.

The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif‚ Federal Ministers and Army and Naval chief. The President also hosted a reception in honour of the guests.

Earlier, the President had a meeting with the CJCSC and the three services chiefs.
