LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday directed that unregistered cell phone sims should be blocked immediately.

A high level meeting on national security and law and order situation is in progress presided by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at Raiwind‚ Lahore.

Army Chief Gen. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, DG IB, DG Rangers, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and senior officials are attending the meeting.

The meeting also reviewed law and order in the country in general, with special focus on Karachi issue and the upcoming APC on terrorism.

PM Sharif expressed satisfaction over the on-going targeted operation in Karachi. He also ordered to review existing anti-terrorism laws.
