Earlier on Wednesday night, a three-member Judicial Commission led by the Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk and comprising Justice Amir Hani Muslim and Justice Ejaz Afzal sent its 300-report to the Prime Minister House.
The ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders claimed that the commission had rejected all allegations of systematic and organized rigging in the polls levelled by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Meanwhile, the prime minister has also called his legal team for briefing on the report on Thursday afternoon.
In a statement, the spokesman of Prime Minister House said that the team will brief the prime minister on the report and subsequently the report will be uploaded on the website of the Ministry of Law.
In a message on the social website Twitter, the Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal claimed that the Judicial Commission has cleared general elections held in May 2013 and rejected PTI allegations on all three charges.
On the other hand, the PTI has said that it would come out with a response after going through contents of the commission’s report.
