KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday reviewed progress made so far on the installation of up to 10 coal-based power plants in Gadani, Balochistan involving an estimated investment of around $14-$15 billion.

The Prime Minister directed officials to complete the project on fast-track basis.

The ground-breaking of the first power plant is anticipated to be held in March next year, the prime minister was told in the briefing.
