PakistanPM calls meeting to discuss national security

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday convened a meeting to discuss issues related to terrorism and national security as he is trying to chalk out a strategy to curb the menace of terrorism.

In the meeting to be held today, Chief of Army Staff, General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Zaheerul Islam, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and others will be present, sources said.

The Prime Minister is trying to chalk out a strategy in a bid to curb the menace of terrorism, which experts say is vital to materialize his economic agenda.
