Pillion riding banned in Peshawar on Sunday due to anti-polio drive

PESHAWAR: A ban on pillion-riding has been imposed in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, for Sunday due to anti-polio drive, the District Coordination Officer (DCO) Peshawar said on Saturday.

In a statement issued by the DCO Peshawar office, it was stated that the ban has been imposed in the city to avoid any untoward incident during the anti-polio drive.

The ban will remain in effect from 7am to 5pm on Sunday.
