Petroleum product prices to be reduced from May 1

ISLAMABAD: The prices of all petroleum products will be reduced from May 1 after the ministry of petroleum has given its approval of the summery for cut in petroleum product prices, media citing sources reported on Wednesday.

The sources said that the ministry approved a reduction of 34 paisa per litre in the price of petrol, Rs4.51 per litre in the price of high speed diesel, Rs3.08 in kerosene oil, Rs0.93 in light diesel and Rs1.94 in high octane blending component (HOBC).

Following the reduction in the prices, the new price of petrol will be Rs107.97 per litre, diesel Rs109.34, kerosene oil Rs98.07, light diesel Rs94.13 and HOBC Rs134.63.
