Petrol price reduced by Rs2.73 per litre

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to maintain existing prices of petroleum products except petrol which was decreased by Rs 2.73 per liter from March 1, 2014.

The federal minister for finance Ishaq Dar while briefing Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that if the petroleum prices were maintained at the level of February 1‚ 2014 except petrol price‚ the subsidy to be picked up by ministry of finance will be less than a billion rupees for the month of March 2014.
