RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: Pakistan has successfully test fired indigenously developed cruise missile ‘Raad’, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

In a statement on Monday, the ISPR said that the cruise missile with stealth capabilities is a low altitude, terrain hugging missile with high maneuverability and can deliver nuclear and conventional warheads to a range of 350 kilometers.

The ISPR said that the ‘Raad’ missile enables Pakistan to achieve strategic standoff capability on land and at sea.

President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif appreciated the successful test, and also congratulated the scientists and engineers on their outstanding success.
