Kathmandu, Nepal: Nepal Army Chief, Gen Gaurav SJB Rana expressed his gratitude for support extended by Pakistan and Pakistan Army during recent earthquake in Nepal.
He expressed these remarks during his visit to Pakistan Army Field Hospital here on Sunday. Nepalese army Chief met Pakistani relief workers and appreciated their efforts to provide solace to the earthquake victims in Nepal.

Nepal Army Chief, Gen Gaurav SJB Rana said Pakistan will be remembered by people of Kathmandu because doctors from Pakistan Army were present around the clock and they came with ample stock of medicines. Pakistan Army field hospital at Bakhtapur is main source of receiving medical aid for the earthquake affected people of Nepal. Pakistani Army Urban Search and Rescue teams are also round the clock busy in rescue work.
Earlier last week Ms. Valerie Amos, Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator along with Mr.Christos Stylianides,European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management also visited Pakistan Army Field hospital in Bhaktapur, Nepal. They praised the state of the art field camp and rescue and relief efforts by Pakistan Army teams doctors and Urban Search & Rescue (USAR) team.
