Lahore: Former President Asif Ali Zardari landed at Lahore Airport on his charted flight where Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar accompanied him to Raiwind helipad on helicopter. At helipad, Asif Ali Zardari was received by Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif who himself drove the car and both leaders reached private house of  Mian Nawz in Jati Umrah palace. Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif will not sit in the meeting.

The former President and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari is having one-onone meeting Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif discussing the prevailing political crisis in the country. After their one-on-one meeting, both leaders will be joined by their political teams.

The opposition leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah, the opposition leader in the Senate Aitzaz Ahsan, Mian Raza Rabbani and Rehman Malik are with Zardari.

On the other hand, the prime minister will be assisted by the federal ministers Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Abdul Qadir Baloch and Khawaja Saad Rafique during the meeting.

On Friday, the prime minister called the PPP co-chairman for a lunch on Saturday which the former president accepted.

Referring to announcement of Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský, Ukrinform reports that Czech Republic will continue to provide support to Ukraine to repel and stop Russian aggression.
