KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced unconditional support to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif for the slot of Prime Minister.

According to a statement, MQM members would vote for Nawaz Sharif as Leader of the House for a record third term.

The statement said that MQM chief Altaf Hussain has also ratified the coordination committee’s decision to vote for Nawaz Sharif.

“The decision has been taken keeping in view the national interest,” the MQM Chief said.

It is pertinent to mention that MQM leaders Farooq Sattar and Babar Ghauri Monday held a meeting with Nawaz Sharif at the chamber of Senator Ishaq Dar in the Parliament House and exchanged views on political situation.
