KARACHI: Rangers and police conducted a search operation in the central prison and recovered mobile phones, laptops and drugs from prisoners’ custody during barracks to barracks search.

According to police sources, the operation was started early in the morning in which the forces recovered mobile phones, laptops and drugs from prisoners’ custody.

According to the Rangers, numbers found on the phones seized from four Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists will aid in finding linked terrorists operating from outside jail from areas such as Mangho Pir and Sohrab Goth.

The forces also recovered a mobile phone which was used to attack Sindh Hight Court (SHC) Judge, Justice Maqbool Baqar.
