ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted more widespread rains in the country with heavy at times very heavy falls at a number of places in Islamabad‚ Punjab‚ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa‚ eastern Balochistan and Kashmir in the next two days.

Scattered rain-thundershower with isolated heavy falls is also predicted in Sindh during the period.

According to the met department, heavy rains would generate urban and flash flooding in the vulnerable areas of the country.

Moreover, the department has warned about high risk of flash flooding in barsati nullahs of Rawalpindi‚ Sargodha‚ Gujranwala‚ Lahore‚ Peshawar‚ Hazara‚ Mardan‚ D.G.Khan‚ D.I khan‚ Zhob‚ Sibbi‚ Naseerabad‚ Kalat divisions and Kashmir in the next two days

All concerned authorities have been advised to remain “high alert” during the next two days.

Referring to announcement of Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský, Ukrinform reports that Czech Republic will continue to provide support to Ukraine to repel and stop Russian aggression. "As you know, my country has launched an initiative on ammunition. By the end of the year, 500,000 large-caliber shells will be delivered. We will not stop there.
