LAHORE, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is putting its ‘Plan C’ into action in Lahore on Monday, aimed at forcing the federal government to launch an investigations into alleged rigging in 2013 general elections.

In an interview, the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the provincial government would maintain law and order at all costs in Lahore today.

The chief minister said that the provincial government will fulfill its responsibilities to protect lives and assets of the masses in any way.

The PTI Chairman Imran Khan while addressing press conference in Bani Gala on Sunday said that they are doing all this for the future of Pakistan. He said that if reforms are not incorporated in the electoral system, then there is no use of elections.

“I apologize in advance to the people of Lahore, what we are doing as protest is for future of Pakistan,” Imran Khan said.

“We will block roads in Lahore and won’t force anyone to shut down his business tomorrow,” the PTI Chairman said adding that if Judicial Commission sits and starts working, they will call back their countrywide shutdown strike.
