PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Tuesday announced that it would establish an autonomous and free accountability commission to ensure corruption-free government in the province.
“A ten-member legislative body comprising from members each from government and opposition will select a seven-member Search and Scrutiny Committee for a four-year term,” Information Minister Shah Farman told media persons in Peshawar on Tuesday.
Farman said that the committee will then appoint the accountability commissioner.
