Karachi shutdown by PTI: Roads blocked, protests continues in various places

KARACHI, Pakistan: As a part of its ‘Plan C’, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) held a strike in Karachi on Friday during which the PTI workers blocked roads and staged sit-in protests in various areas of the city.

Earlier on Thursday, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sindh deputy general security Manzoor Hussain Wassan said that no one would be allowed to forcefully shutdown the country’s biggest city on December 12.

The PTI’s ‘Plan C’ is aimed at forcing the federal government to launch an investigations into alleged rigging in 2013 general elections.
