Political leaders seek public apology from Imran Khan over JC report

Media is expecting a press conference from Rehman Khan anytime to reveal facts behind their divorce.

Khan denied any financial deal to settle divorce issue:

The recent certification of low credibility of Imran Khan is the case of Imran Khan and Reham Khan divorce issue where he had been denying media reports and his followers had been following him blindly and therefore have been abusing media for “baseless” and “fabricated” news about the divorce of Imran Khan.

The renowned journalist Arif Nizami claimed in a talks Show this month that the differences between Imran Khan and Reham Khan had reached and couple was no more living together and they are in the phase of divorcing each other and Rehman had demanded the Imran Khan to give her $one million as a compensation amount for the mutually-agreed separation. PTI strongly criticized Arif Nizami for this news and categorically denied while calling this news as baseless. It may be mentioned that the differences between the two began to surface a couple of months after the marriage as Reham Khan reportedly wanted more active role in politics which Imran Khan seemed reluctant to agree.

It may be mentioned that Imran Khan had been saying that former Governor Najam Saithi rigged 2013 elections on 35 seats calling the issue as “35 punctures” but he did not mention this claim and allegation in his written plea to Tribunal. When he was asked by people wht he did not mention this allegation in official correspondence, he said his statement about 35 punctures was just a “political statement”.

Imran Khan is known for his erratic and unstable relations with people around him including his families members and former friends. He had many girl friends in his life but did not live with them for long including his former wife Jamima Khan. There were expectations that Imran will not for long with Rehman Khan and now this expectation has become a reality.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Spokesman Naeem-ul Haq confirmed on Friday that the divorce between the two had already occurred with mutual consent.

Naeem-ul Haq said that the decision to divorce was very sensitive and serious issue. He further said that the PTI Chief Imran Khan wanted the media to air the news as much as it has been informed.

The PTI spokesman said that Imran Khan has called on the news media to avoid speculation.

The 62-year-old Imran Khan and 41-year-old Reham Khan got married in a simple ceremony at the former’s residence in Bani Gala in Islamabad on January 8, 2015 in Islamabad.

It was second marriage of both as Imran Khan to married to Jemima Goldsmith in 1995 about got separated in 2004. He has two sons – Salman and Qasim – from Jemima. Whereas Reham Khan has also three children from her previous marriage.
