HeadlinesImran orders inquiry against KPK ministers indulging in corruption

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Friday that he has received complaints of some ministers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet indulging in corruption and has directed the Chief Minister Pervez Khattak to immediately investigate and take action against them.

In a statement issued from the PTI’s Karachi Media Cell, Imran reminded that his party was given an electoral mandate to bring peace to the country and to root out corruption.

Imran said that the government had already lost eight billion rupees in just one corruption case involving Swiss accounts and now would lose another four billion rupees in fines as a result of expedient compromises on the same case.

The PTI chief said that his party would not tolerate corruption at any level but would act immediately to punish those responsible.
