Ibrahim urges govt, Taliban to demonstrate ceasefire

PESHAWAR: A key member of the Taliban negotiating team and Jamaat-i-Islami leader Professor Ibrahim Khan on Saturday urged both the government and the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to demonstrate ceasefire practically.

Talking to media in Peshawar on Peshawar, the Professor Ibrahim said that the Taliban committee is in touch with the group’s political shura.

To a question, Professor Ibrahim said that place for direct talks with that Taliban has not been decided yet. However, he added, talks in this regard are underway.
