ISLAMABAD: The government negotiating team has suggested an indefinite ceasefire to the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) or at least three month-time, media reported on Friday.

On the other hand, the TTP shura will decide about the government proposal within 24 hours, reports added.

On Wednesday, the government negotiating team and the TTP Shura held their first round of direct peace talks in a remote area of North Waziristan and reached consensus on extending the ceasefire and on the exchange of non-combatants prisoners.
