Four more militants killed as second drone strike occurs in 24 hours

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: A US drone strike occurred in Shawal tehsil of the North Waziristan tribal region on Saturday night, killing at least four suspected militants including a local commander.

The intelligence sources said that the US drone fired two missiles at a vehicle in Maraga area of Shawal tehsil.

It was the second US drone attack in 24 hours as earlier in the day at least four suspected militants were killed while several others sustained injuries in a drone strike near Tirah valley of Khyber agency.

The official sources that the drone fired missiles at militant hideouts in the Cancharo Kandoa area of Afghanistan near Pakistan border.
