Five-member committee formed on missing persons

ISLAMABAD: A five-member committee headed by federal minister for defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif has been constituted to resolve the lingering issue of missing persons.

In a statement the PM house spokesman said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif formed the committee on the directives of the Supreme Court of Pakistan

The committee which consists of defence minister, attorney general‚ secretary defence‚ secretary interior and secretary law will work on drafting a law pertaining to the missing persons.
