ABBOTTABAD: An election tribunal in Abbottabad on Friday suspended the membership of the Jamiat Ulema Islam Fazl’s (JUI-F) Zareen Khan in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly, and ordered re-election in 22 polling stations of the KP-58 constituency.

Zareen Khan was elected as a member of the provincial assembly from the KP-58 constituency in the general elections held in May last year.

The tribunal announced its decision after hearing a petition filed by Namroz Khan of the Awami National Party (ANP) against the election of Zareen Khan.
