ISLAMABAD: At least eight persons lost their lives in two separate road accidents in Punjab province.
A car was going to Lahore from Sargodha on Friday but it overturned on its way due to overspeeding, killing five persons including four of a family.
The reports said that a husband, his wife, two daughters and a driver were travelling in the car when it met the accident.
The husband, wife and one of the daughters died on the spot whereas another daughter and the driver of the vehicle succumbed to their injuries while they were being shifted to ta hospital.
In another accident, three persons were killed while another injured when the cars they were travelling in collided head on near Hasanabdal on Thursday evening.
