ECP discusses allegations levelled by Imran Khan, Afzal Khan

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday discussed the allegations levelled by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and the ECP’s former additional secretary Muhammad Afzal Khan regarding rigging in 2013 general elections.

In a meeting held in Islamabad and presided over by the acting Chief Election Commissioner Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, the ECP considered the proposal for introduction of biometric system during the local government elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The commission also discussed the proposed law for delimitation and other issues.
