ISLAMABAD: The Canadian High Commissioner to Pakistan Greg Giokas held a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Thursday, and reiterated his country’s commitment to further strengthening the ties with Pakistan.

During the meeting, the Pakistani primer appreciated the Canada’s humanitarian assistance during the natural calamities and hoped that development assistance would continue in the education sector.

The prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve for promotion of peace and stability in the world.

Sharif further said that the government has formulated investor friendly policies to attract foreign investment in various sectors.
