ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Deputy Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal said on Saturday that the cabinet size of the newly elected government would be short which would help it to minimize precious national wealth besides help masses in efficient manner.

A meeting of the party’s parliamentary committee would be convened on May 20 in Lahore under the chair of PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif which would discuss formation of the government at the centre and in provinces, Ahsan Iqbal said.

Ahsan Iqbal said the PML-N had gained simple majority at the centre while thumping majority in Punjab. The party would also form coalition government in Balochistan with the help of other political parties, he added.

“First 100-day plan of action including energy crisis, law and order situation and other challenges faced by the country would also be discussed in the meeting,” said the PML-N leader.

Ahsan Iqbal said that newly elected members of the National Assembly besides senators and central and provincial office-bearers would attend the meeting.
