LONDON: The three-day event of 9th World Islamic Economic Forum begun in London today (October 29), with an aim to focus on a number of issues such as Islamic banking and finance, technology, infrastructure development, health, exports, education and youth.
This is the Forum’s first annual event in Europe following successes in Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Kuwait and Pakistan.
Leaders and representatives of some 115 countries are attending the three-day event.
This year’s theme “Changing World‚ New Relationships” will encapsulate the emergence of new economic linkages between nations across borders‚ religions and cultures in a fast changing world.
