ISLAMABAD: As the holy month of Ramazan is set to begin after a couple of days, the federal government will start implementation of its Rs2 billion Ramazan relief package through utility stores across the country from June 23 (Monday).

The officials said that there will be 5 to 10 percent decrease in the prices of over 1,500 items under the subsidy package announced by the government to provide relief to the common people in the holy month of Ramazan.

Under the package, the prices of oil, ghee, rice, pulses, basin, tetra pak milk, and dates will be slashed by Rs10 per kilogram.
