  • Initially, 1 Rescue Station, 2 Ambulances & a team of 29 Rescue Operation Members has been provided at 11 Tehsils in the first phase.

LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar on Tuesday officially launched the Rescue 1122 Service in 79 Tehsils of Punjab under a phase-wise program in Lahore on Tuesday for the timely provision of emergency services to the people.

In the first phase, the Rescue 1122 Service has been launched in 11 Tehsils including Sharqpur Sharif, Safdarabad, Narang Mandi, Nowshera Virkaan, Nurpur, Quaidabad, Karor Paka, Renala Khurd, Pindi Bhattian, Darya Khan, and Jalalpur Pirwala.

By June 2022, the Rescue 1122 Service will be launched in 79 Tehsils of Punjab.

In each Tehsil, one Rescue Station, 2 Ambulances, and a 29-member Staff is being provided under the program.

In his remarks, the Punjab Chief Minister said that every human life is precious and timely treatment is the right of every individual so the government has extended the scope of Rescue Service at the Tehsil level.

Usman Buzdar said that new Rescue stations have been set up in 79 Tehsils and Towns of the province and the Rescue Service will be completely launched in these Tehsils by June 2022.

The Chief Minister said that Punjab will be the first province of the Country where the Rescue Air Ambulance Service is being launched for various emergencies.
