Pakistan will play against Bangladesh in their first match of the T20I Tri-Series 2022/23 at Hagley Oval in Christchurch on Friday.

Hosted by New Zealand, the three-nation series is being held from October 07 to 14, 2022.

Each team will play twice against each other at Christchurch before the two top teams reaching the final.

In their last seven T20 Internationals since March 16, 2016, Pakistan won six games while one match at Lahore on January 27, 2020 was abandoned by rain without a ball bowled.

Both Pakistan and Bangladesh have previously met 16 times in T20Is from September 2007 to November 2021. The former won 13 of them and the latter succeeded twice only.

  • October 14: Final at 07:00 am PST

Pakistan last toured New Zealand for a bilateral T20I Series in December 2020. Green shirts lost the three-match series by 1-2.
